At the heart of the business are ‘GT’ — Gemma and “Tiny” (Andrew) — a husband and wife team who spent many years working together aboard privately owned sailing yachts overseas. These experiences not only provided a wealth of practical marine knowledge but also established the strong working relationship, trust, and shared values that continue to underpin our business today. Tiny's sailing and boatbuilding qualifications, together with decades of hands-on experience in the marine industry, complement Gemma's business management skills. Supported by a trusted network of skilled marine professionals, we pride ourselves on professionalism, attention to detail, and building lasting relationships with our clients.

Through operating GT Yachting Ltd, we gained extensive experience not only in the marine industry, but also in business operations, governance, risk management, and workplace health and safety. Building on this foundation, Gemma pursued formal OHS qualifications while gaining experience supporting clients across a diverse range of industries through her work with a Health & Safety consultancy. This combination of practical business experience and professional OHS expertise led to the creation of GTY Solutions — a separate consulting brand providing practical Health & Safety support to other businesses.
